1.Why this policy exists
1.1Many organisations share Rykloud’s accounts, networks and reputation with its cloud providers. These rules protect your work as much as everyone else’s. This policy forms part of the terms of service.
2.Prohibited use
2.1You may not use Rykloud, or anything you run in an Environment, to:
- create, host or spread malware, phishing, credential harvesting, fraud, scams, or impersonation of another person or organisation;
- mine cryptocurrency, or run computing unrelated to the purpose the Environment was approved for in a shared account;
- probe, scan or attack any system, run an open proxy or relay, or try to reach another customer’s Environment, Rykloud’s own systems or a cloud provider’s control plane beyond what your Environment is given, without our written permission;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or contact people in breach of the law where they are;
- host content that exploits or endangers children, harasses or threatens anyone, or infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- get around approvals, spend limits or other controls, including by spreading one workload over several Organisations;
- break the acceptable use policies of the cloud providers listed on our subprocessors page, or any law that applies to you.
3.Resale
3.1Do not resell access to Rykloud, or run Environments for third parties as a hosting business, without our written agreement.
4.How it is enforced
4.1Where we see misuse we stop the Environment involved, keeping its data, and then contact the Organisation’s owners. Serious or repeated misuse ends the Organisation’s use of the service. Where content is unlawful, we may preserve it and report it to the authorities as the law requires.
4.2A cloud provider may also act on its own policies against a resource in its account; we pass on what it tells us.
5.Reporting misuse
5.1Report misuse of Rykloud to support@rykloud.com with "Abuse" in the subject, and security issues to security@rykon.ai. We review every report.
