Request and approve an environment
Choosing size and region, the itemised price, and the owner’s approval.
Request
In a project, ask for a new environment: choose a size, then a provider or Any in an area, then a region. Every option shows its price, and the total updates as you choose.
Choose where it runs: Rykloud’s shared account for that cloud, an account Rykloud makes for your organisation alone, or your own AWS or Google Cloud account (the Cloud accounts tab explains the role or service account to grant).
Approve
Nothing that costs money is made until an owner approves the exact itemised price. The approval restates what will be created. Billing starts only once the cloud has created the environment.
Each organisation has limits on how many environments it runs at once and on its monthly spend. If a limit stops a request the console says so; an owner can ask us to raise it.
